The beauty and function of large-format slab pavers

Options

Benefits

As hinted above, large-format slab pavers offer a clean, elegantly classic yet eternal aesthetic to the outdoor living space.  Unlike the average smaller scale pavers, large slabs do not tend to compete for attention.  Small-paver patios can sometimes distract the eye from outdoor features or furniture with its sea of paver joints, but larger slab pavers are simplistic, uncomplicated and allow the space to speak for itself without coming off as “busy”.

The sophisticated scale of the pavers also equates to less maintenance down the road for the homeowner.  As opposed to concrete slab or stamped concrete patios that may crack over time and need to be replaced, paver patios contain polymeric sand between the joints, allowing any damage to be spot repaired as needed.  Also, the combination of fewer paver joints and the polymeric sand installation inhibits the growth of weeds and grasses for a low maintenance sustainability.
