The 12th Annual Eastern Pennsylvania Spring Home Show
Where: Agricultural Hall, Allentown Fairgrounds, 302 North 17th Street, Allentown, PA
When:
Friday, Feb. 14: 5 to 9 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 15: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday, Feb. 16: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tickets: $8 adults, $7 seniors, children under 12 free. Take $1 off your admission with the donation of a non-perishable food item, which will go to local food banks. Free parking.
Details: The Spring Eastern PA Home Show brings nearly 200 companies together to present many ways to improve your home and surrounding property.
From I-78 West or East. Go to Hamilton St./Route 222 Exit (Dorney Park). Take exit towards Allentown. Follow route into city for approximately 2 miles; turn left on 17th St. Go 3 blocks to Chew St. Turn left at light. You can see the fairgrounds at this intersection. Lehigh Valley Hospital Allentown Campus will be on your right. Go past the first gate and turn into the second gate (on right). You’ll see the Agriplex on your left.
From Philadelphia and South. Find your best way to Route 309 north. At the intersection of Rt. 309 and I-78, get on I-78. Go one exit to the Lehigh Street Exit and get off bearing right into the city. This is Lehigh Street. Go about two miles and look for the Parkway Shopping Center on your right. At the shopping center traffic light, turn left onto 15th St/Jefferson St. Follow this route across the bridge and through several traffic lights. This will intersect with Chew St. At the Chew St. traffic light, turn left. Follow Chew St. until you see the Fairgrounds, then follow the directions above.
From the PA Turnpike Northeast Extension (I-476). Get off at the Allentown Exit. Take Route 22 East and get off at the 15th St. Exit. Head into Allentown. Stay on this route (15th St.) until it intersects with Chew St. At the Chew St. traffic light, turn right. Follow Chew St. until you see the Fairgrounds, then follow the directions above.
From the North: Route 309 or Route 145. Go to intersection with Route 22 and get on 22. Route 309, head east. Route 145, head west. Get off at 15th St. Exit and head into Allentown. Stay on this route (15th St.) until it intersects with Chew St. At the Chew St. traffic light, turn right. Follow Chew St. until you see the Fairgrounds, then follow the directions above.
The Spring Home Show at Stabler
Where: Stabler Arena and Rauch Fieldhouse on the Murray H. Goodman Campus, Lehigh University.
When: Friday, March 28 to Sunday, March 30, 2014
Tickets: $6, Children under 12 are free. Parking is free.
Details: The nonprofit Lehigh Valley Builders Association hosts the annual spring home show, the largest home show in eastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey.
Directions:
From Interstate 78, take Exit 67 Hellertown/Bethlehem. Turn left onto route 412 and Continue to Water Street (look for the blue sign that reads “Lehigh University”). Make a right onto Water Street (which becomes Friedensville Road). Travel a half mile to traffic island (look for the blue sign that reads Lehigh University) and bear right onto Mountain Drive South. Make a right onto Goodman Drive. The show will be located in the Rauch Fieldhouse and Stabler Arena on the Murray H. Goodman Campus, Lehigh University.

Details: The home show is ponsored by the American Consumer Shows group of companies, the largest producers of Home Shows in the United States. Each event includes hundreds of home improvement and landscaping exhibits with product demonstrations and sample interior and exterior vignettes. With a combination of new products and expert advice from the pros, the Home Show inspires homeowners with countless ideas on enhancing their home’s comfort and functionality, as well as its aesthetic appeal and overall value.

From the East: Take 95 to exit 46 towards Rte 1 West. Take Rte 1 to PA Turnpike 276 West. Take PA Turnpike 276 West to 611 (Easton Rd) North. Turn right on Meetinghouse Rd. Turn right on W. Country Line Rd. Turn left on York Rd. SMG SportsPlex is located in the shopping center with Petco, directly across the street from Archbishop Wood High School.
From the South: Take York Rd/611. Make a slight right to PA-263 N/York Rd. SMG SportsPlex is located in the shopping center with Petco, directly across the street from Archbishop Wood High School.
From the West: Take 267 East to exit 343, Easton Rd/611. Turn right on Meetinghouse Rd. Turn right on W. Country Line Rd. Turn left on PA 263/York Rd. SMG SportsPlex is located in the shopping center with Petco, directly across the street from Archbishop Wood High School.
From the North: Take PA-263 S/York Rd. SMG SportsPlex is located in the shopping center with Petco, directly across from Archbishop Wood High School.
